Hi! I’m SO sorry I’ve been gone for so long! It’s been all I could do to keep up with our family blog, and since we haven’t been home in months (or so it feels), I haven’t had a chance to do much crafting or cooking, both of which I’m itching to get back to. I’ve decided, though, to transfer all of Pretty as a Peach’s blog posts over to our family blog, The Gavina Family, and continue them over there. It’ll make my life so much simpler, and I think I’m a lot more likely to actually post regularly, especially once we get to San Antonio (where we’re moving in two days!). I hope you’ll continue to follow me there. I love getting all of your feedback!

Meyer Lemon Bars
My dad decided that he was going to grow some citrus trees a couple of years ago. Needless to say, this is not exactly a common thing to do in central Texas, but he pulled it off. And boy, did … Continue reading
Cherry-Bacon Vinaigrette
This is my all-time, hands down, absolute FAVORITE salad. I would eat this every day for the rest of my life. Maybe I didn’t make it clear enough. If I were on death row, this would be my last meal. … Continue reading
English Muffin Bread
English muffins were one of my favorite breakfasts growing up. Slather them with butter, jelly, honey, cinnamon sugar, or cream cheese, and I was a happy girl. When I found a recipe for English muffin bread, I jumped on it. … Continue reading
Penne and Shrimp with a Tomato Cream Sauce
I realized a few days ago that today is Ash Wednesday. For our Catholic home, that means fasting and no meat today. There went my meal plan! The next few days all have meat in them, so I had to … Continue reading
